- MMA Hawaii, LLC launches an MMA video company as an extension to
their existing service MMAHawaii.com and MMAHawaii - The Magazine to
provide local television programming as well as ON Demand, Live
Stream and Podcast services.
Filming of their first reality show
"MMA Hawaii Insider" started
late last year. The show will air weekly for the first time on
March 17, 2009 at 7pm on K5 The
Home Team. MMA Hawaii
Insider will showcase local MMA fighters and feature local
event promotions as well as local businesses that are joining what
many believe to be the fastest growing sport in the world.
MMAHawaii.com was launched in November of 2005. The site has gone
from a few hundred to over five million hits per months and is now
the number one MMA news source in the state.
MMAHawaii - The Magazine was first published in May
of 2008. The magazine is now available at hundreds of stores island
wide including, Borders & Books, Barnes & Noble, Safeway, Foodland,
Longs Drugs, Star Market, Walmart, Sams Club, Costco and all major
airport locations in Hawaii.
